Vera Monet

Vendor Resource

Your guide to
getting listed
and getting leads.

Everything you need to know about your account, your dashboard, and how introductions work on Vera Monet.

01Getting started

How Vera Monet works

Vera Monet is a curated wedding vendor marketplace. We are not a listing directory — we are an introduction service. When a couple submits their vision, our team reviews it and selects up to three vendors whose work genuinely fits. You are one of those three, or you are not contacted at all.

This means every introduction you receive is a near-exclusive lead. No mass broadcasts. No competing against twelve photographers for the same couple.

For couples

Curated matches

Couples share their vision. We select up to three vendors by hand — not by algorithm.

For vendors

Near-exclusive leads

You pay only when you choose to accept an introduction. No subscriptions. No monthly fees.

Our standard

Human curation

We review your work before listing you. Being on Vera Monet means something.

02Creating your account

Sign up and verify your email

1

Go to the vendor signup page

Visit veramonet.com/vendors/join and complete the interest form with your name, email, business category, and market. This tells us who you are before you create an account.

2

Create your account

Navigate to veramonet.com/vendor/signup and enter your email and a password of your choosing. Your email will need to be verified before you can proceed.

3

Verify your email

Check your inbox for an email from hello@veramonet.com. Click the verification link inside. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder. You can also enter the one-time code manually on the verification screen.

4

Complete the setup wizard

Once verified, you’ll be guided through a 3-step profile setup covering your business details, your market, and your pricing range. This takes about five minutes.

Good to know

Your first introduction is free — no credit card required at signup. You’ll only add a payment method when you choose to unlock your first lead.

03Logging in

Your login and two-factor authentication

Vera Monet uses two-factor authentication (2FA) on every login to protect your account. Here is what to expect.

1

Enter your email and password

Go to veramonet.com/vendor/login and sign in with your credentials.

2

Check your email for a verification code

A 6-digit code will be sent to your email address from hello@veramonet.com. This code expires in 10 minutes. If you don’t receive it, use the “Resend code” link on the verification screen.

3

Enter the code

Type the 6-digit code on the verification screen. If everything matches, you’ll be taken directly to your dashboard.

Remember this device

On the verification screen, you can choose to trust your current device for 30 days. When selected, you’ll skip the 2FA step on future logins from that device. This preference persists even if you log out — it’s tied to your browser, not your session.

Forgot your password

Click “Forgot password” on the login page and enter your email. You’ll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Reset links expire after a short window, so use yours promptly.

Trouble logging in?

If your verification code isn’t arriving, check your spam folder first. If the issue persists, email us at hello@veramonet.com and we’ll help you get back in.

04Profile setup

The setup wizard

After verifying your email, you’ll complete a 3-step setup wizard before submitting your profile for review. This is a required step — you cannot access the full dashboard or receive introductions until it’s complete.

1

Business basics

Your business name, category (Photography, Florals, Venue, etc.), and a short description of your work. This is what couples will read first — be specific about your style and what makes your work distinctive.

2

Your market

Select the primary market where you operate. Available markets include Charleston SC, Savannah GA, Hudson Valley NY, Napa CA, Asheville NC, Charlotte NC, and Palm Beach FL. Your city and state are set automatically from this selection.

3

Pricing & availability

Your starting price and typical price range. These help us match you accurately with couples whose budget fits your work — they’re not shown as hard figures but guide our curation.

Once submitted, your profile enters the Vera Monet review queue. You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately, and a decision within a few business days.

05The review process

What happens after you apply

Every vendor profile on Vera Monet is reviewed by our team. We look at the quality and consistency of your work, how well your style fits the markets you’ve selected, and whether your listing gives couples enough to make a confident decision.

Your account has two separate statuses — both matter.

Account status

This controls whether you can access your dashboard and receive introductions.

Pending reviewApprovedChanges requested

Listing status

This controls whether your profile appears publicly to couples browsing the site. Approval of your account does not automatically make your listing live — our team enables this separately.

HiddenLive

When your listing goes live

You’ll receive an email notification the moment your listing is published publicly. That email includes a direct link to your profile page on veramonet.com.

If changes are requested

Our team may ask you to update certain parts of your profile before approval — typically the description, images, or pricing. Log back into your dashboard, make the requested changes under the Profile tab, and resubmit. We’ll review again promptly.

06Your dashboard

Navigating the vendor dashboard

Once approved, your dashboard is your home on Vera Monet. You can access it at veramonet.com/vendor/dashboard any time you’re logged in.

Dashboard

Overview

Stat cards showing your response rate, total introductions, new introductions awaiting action, and spend this month. Below that, your new introductions feed and a profile strength sidebar with quick action shortcuts.

Introductions

All requests

Every introduction sent to you, filterable by All / New / Unlocked. Search by name or location, hide passed leads, and sort by newest or oldest.

Profile

Your listing

Edit your public-facing profile across four tabs — About, Media, Pricing, and Settings. Changes save immediately when you click Save Changes.

Billing

Payments

Your saved payment method, monthly spend summary, and a full introduction history with Stripe receipt links for every charge.

07Introductions & leads

How introductions work

When a couple submits a request that matches your style, market, and availability, we send you an introduction. You’ll be notified by email, and the request will appear in your Leads tab.

What you see before unlocking

Each new request shows you a preview: the couple’s wedding details, location, date range, and a brief message about what they’re looking for. You can read enough to know whether this is the right fit before you decide to unlock.

Your options

Unlock the introduction

Pay the introduction fee for your category and receive the couple’s full contact information — their name, email, and detailed notes. You can then reach out directly. The charge is one-time; there is no commission on any contract you sign.

Decline the introduction

If the date, style, or budget isn’t a fit, you can decline without any charge. No explanation required. Declining keeps your lead queue clean and helps us calibrate future introductions.

Respond to the couple

After unlocking, you can use the Respond feature in your dashboard to send an initial reply through Vera Monet. Your response is forwarded directly to the couple from your business email, keeping the conversation natural.

Your Introductions page organizes requests so you can see what needs action at a glance. Use the tabs at the top to filter, the search bar to find a specific couple by name or location, and the sort dropdown to order by newest or oldest. The “Hide passed” toggle removes declined introductions from view.

First introduction is free

New vendors receive their first introduction at no cost. This lets you see the quality and detail of a lead request before committing to a payment method. Your free intro is applied automatically — no code needed.

08Pricing

Introduction fees by category

You pay only when you choose to unlock an introduction. There are no monthly fees, no subscriptions, and no commission on contracts you sign.

CategoryTypical contract valueIntroduction fee
VenueFrom $8,000+$110
CateringFrom $6,000+$90
Wedding PlanningFrom $5,000+$90
PhotographyFrom $4,000+$80
VideographyFrom $4,000+$80
Florals & DecorFrom $3,000+$60
Hair & MakeupFrom $1,200+$25

Each fee is approximately 1–2% of a typical contract value in that category — consistent with standard client acquisition costs for service businesses. You’re paying for a warm, curated introduction, not a cold list.

09Managing your profile

Your public-facing listing

Your profile lives at veramonet.com/vendors/your-slug and is what couples see when they’re introduced to you. Edit it any time from the Profile page in your dashboard. There are two shortcuts at the top right: Import from website pulls in details automatically from your website URL, and View Public Profile opens your live listing in a new tab.

The profile is divided into four tabs.

About
Media
Pricing
Settings

About

Everything that describes your business and work. Fields on this tab:

Business name

Your public business name as it appears on your listing. Note that your profile URL is set at signup and does not change if you update your name — this keeps your search rankings stable.

Short bio · max 300 characters

Shown in search results and introduction cards. One or two sentences — your style and approach in plain terms. The character counter is in the top right of the field.

Full description

Shown on your full profile page. Write in your own voice — couples want to understand how you work and what it feels like to work with you, not a list of deliverables.

Social links

Website, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest. Enter full URLs. These appear as links on your public profile.

Style tags

Select all that genuinely apply to your work. Tags are used in curation matching — choose the ones a couple would use to describe your portfolio after looking at it, not the ones you aspire to. 3–5 focused tags outperform selecting everything.

City, state & service radius

Your primary location and how far you travel. Service radius is in miles.

Year established & team size

How long you’ve been in business and the number of people on your team.

Available for destination events

Toggle on if you’re open to events outside your primary market. This flag is visible to couples and influences matching for destination weddings.

Frequently asked questions

Add Q&A pairs that couples commonly ask before booking. Click + Add a question to add each one. Good FAQ entries reduce back-and-forth early in the conversation and build trust before you’ve even spoken.

Media

All images for your listing. Three sections:

Logo · optional

Square format, PNG with transparent background recommended. Max 2MB. Click the square placeholder to upload or replace.

Hero image

The large banner image at the top of your profile page. JPG or PNG, minimum 1800×900px, 4000px wide ideal, max 8MB. Drag and drop into the upload area or click to browse. This is the most important image on your profile — choose your strongest work.

Portfolio images · up to 20

JPG, PNG, or WebP. Minimum 1600px wide for best quality, max 5MB each. Click the + tile to add more images. These form the gallery on your public profile.

Pricing

How you present your pricing to couples. All fields on this tab:

Starting price, typical low & typical high

Your floor price and the range where most of your bookings fall. These guide our curation matching — couples whose budget is outside your range won’t be introduced to you. Be accurate rather than aspirational.

What’s included

Enter each item on a new line. List what’s standard across your packages — edited gallery, engagement session, day-of coordination, etc.

What’s not included · optional

Anything outside your standard packages that couples might assume is covered. Setting clear expectations here reduces friction in early conversations.

Travel policy

How you handle travel — whether you charge for it, what distances you cover, and any destination event considerations.

Cancellation policy

Your standard terms for cancellations. Plain language is fine — couples want to understand what happens, not read legal copy.

Booking lead time (days)

The minimum number of days in advance you need to book. This helps us avoid introducing you to couples whose date is too soon.

Settings

Account information and security. Three areas:

Account

Read-only view of your email address, member since date, role, and a link to your Vendor Agreement.

Change password

Enter your current password, then your new password twice. Click Update Password to save. If you’ve forgotten your current password, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page instead.

Danger zone

Request deactivation of your account. This notifies our team, who will follow up within 2 business days. Your listing is removed immediately upon deactivation.

Profile completeness

Your dashboard shows a profile strength percentage. A complete profile — hero image, full description, pricing range, style tags, and at least a few portfolio images — receives significantly more introductions. The dashboard sidebar will prompt you toward the most impactful gaps.

10Billing

Payments and your card on file

The Billing page is its own section in the left navigation — separate from your profile. It shows three things: your saved payment method, your spending summary for the current month, and a complete introduction history.

Payment method

Your saved card is displayed with the last four digits and expiry date. Click Remove to delete it and add a new one. Vera Monet uses Stripe for all payment processing — your full card details are never stored on our servers.

This month

Three stat cards show your total spend this month, the number of introductions unlocked, and your average cost per introduction.

Introduction history

A full log of every charge — date, description, and amount. Each entry includes a Receipt link that opens your Stripe receipt in a new tab. Stripe also sends a receipt to your email automatically for every charge.

First introduction is free

New vendors receive their first introduction at no cost. No credit card is required at signup — you’ll only be prompted to add a payment method when you choose to unlock your second introduction.

11Common questions

Things vendors often ask

For comprehensive answers on how introductions work, pricing, profile tips, and matching — see the full Vendor FAQ. The questions below cover dashboard-specific topics not addressed there.

How do I update my password?

Go to Profile → Settings in your dashboard and scroll to the Change Password section. Enter your current password, then your new password twice to confirm, and click Update Password. If you’ve forgotten your current password, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page instead.

My listing is approved but I don’t see it on the site. Why?

Account approval and listing visibility are two separate things — see Section 05 of this guide for the full explanation. In short: our team enables public visibility separately after reviewing your completed profile. You’ll receive an email the moment your listing goes live. If it’s been more than a few business days since approval, email hello@veramonet.com and we’ll check on it.

Who do I contact for help?

Email hello@veramonet.com for anything account-related. We aim to respond within one business day.
