The Philosophy

Cinematic wedding videography with a Hudson Valley sensibility and a polished, story-driven feel.

JRW Weddings is a Hudson Valley-based wedding videography studio led by Joe, a filmmaker whose path to wedding work ran through music videos, commercials, and fashion editorials in New York City and Los Angeles before a quieter chapter upstate changed what he wanted to capture. What drew him back to the lens was not spectacle but something more specific: the full emotional range of a wedding day, the fear and the release, the pride of parents, the particular joy of choosing someone for life.

Joe's approach is built on presence and patience. He arrives when the photographer does and stays until the last dance, a deliberate choice rooted in the belief that a wedding does not end at cake cutting and that the raw, unguarded footage from the later hours is often where the most honest moments live. Every package includes the raw footage, because four or more hours of material from one of the most significant days of a couple's life deserves to be kept in full, not filed away on a forgotten hard drive.

What’s Included

Three packages are available. Package A includes a 3- to 5-minute trailer, drone footage, and all raw footage. Package B adds a 40 to 60-minute full-length film covering the entire day from start to finish. Package C includes everything in Package B alongside either drone footage or a second videographer.
