Kati Esser Designs

Kati Esser Designs is a Savannah-based floral studio founded by Kati Esser, a Kentucky native and SCAD graduate who studied metals and jewelry before discovering that flowers were the medium she was meant to work in. The path that led her here was indirect and entirely her own: a fine arts degree, a job in a Louisville florist shop, and the gradual realization that designing for weddings was not just work she was good at but work she genuinely loved. She packed up and returned to Savannah, the city she had never stopped missing, and built the studio from there.

What sets Kati apart is the depth of her investment in each couple. She approaches every wedding as a design problem shaped by a specific story, learning how the couple met, what they love, how they want the day to feel, and translating all of it into a color palette, a bouquet, a ceremony backdrop, a collection of details that together make the space feel entirely theirs. The design training shows in her eye for texture, proportion, and the considered placement of every element.

She is also simply there. From setup through the final hour of the reception, Kati stays on site, adjusting arrangements as needed and making sure every piece holds up the way it was intended.
