Megan Elizabeth Weddings and Events is a Savannah-based planning studio founded by Megan DeChant, who got her start planning her own wedding in 2016 and has been at it professionally ever since. After years with a respected local events company, she launched her own studio in 2020 and has built a reputation that carries across Georgia and into South Carolina, serving couples from Savannah, Atlanta, and Statesboro through Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Charleston.

Megan's approach is straightforward: she listens first. Every couple brings a different story, a different set of traditions, and a vision that deserves to be taken seriously rather than fitted into a standard template. Her process is built around understanding that vision and then executing it with the kind of care and experience that comes from years of working every side of the planning process.

The studio is openly and genuinely inclusive. Same-sex couples, multicultural celebrations, non-traditional ceremonies, and anything in between are all a natural part of the work here. Megan has always made that a priority, and it shows in both her couples and the breadth of celebrations she has helped bring to life.
