Founded by Martine Dardignac, this woman-owned catering company brings bold Caribbean flavor and intentional visual styling to weddings across the Hudson Valley, Westchester, and New York City — crafting menus that honor culture while meeting the aesthetic standards of a well-considered celebration.

Taste Buds Required caters events across the Hudson Valley, Westchester, New York City, and parts of New Jersey and Connecticut. Travel fees may apply depending on distance.

Yes. Full liability insurance is in place, along with food handler certifications and all required business documentation. A Certificate of Insurance can be provided upon request for any venue that requires one.

Taste Buds Required operates out of a licensed commercial kitchen — all tastings, consultations, and pickups are by appointment only.

All menus are curated to fit your event. Vegetarian, halal, and gluten-free accommodations available. Certain customizations (such as fusion menus or seafood) may incur an upcharge.

As early as possible! We recommend: - 2 weeks for drop-off - 4–6 weeks for grazing tables - 6+ weeks for full-service weddings/events

For drop-off: just a safe handoff space. For grazing or full-service: 4+ hours of setup time, access to the kitchen or prep area, and loading access for our team

For drop-off orders, no problem. For styled or full-service events, it is strongly recommended to use the Taste Buds Required team or coordinate directly to ensure consistency.
